The job
Sites needed a clear picture of vehicle traffic: what the cameras read, which plates are on a watchlist, how long vehicles stay, and a report someone can trust. The software had to stop at the report. Opening a gate is a different system.
What it does
CentreVision takes camera detections, classifies traffic, and labels watchlist matches. Categories change how a read is labelled and alerted. Dwell, site activity, and traffic patterns roll into reports. It does not control gates or barriers.
How it runs
Laravel and Postgres, with Redis beside them. Database backups are a rolling set of snapshots, cut on a schedule, so a restore is a known file and not a hope.
